Millie Dobson is an illustrator from the UK. Her primary medium of choice is print — lino, risograph, monoprint, with designs that are generally made digitally - though sometimes they use scans of ink or pencil work. Millie’s work is influenced by folklore, myths, the weird and the strange, finding connections with queer identity and everyday life. Another particular interest are creatures that combine human and animal features, as well as stories about human and nature intertwining. Their work often explores a narrative and is presented through comics, zines and books. She is working on her book-binding skills. Millie is currently studying Illustration with Animation at the Manchester School of Art, exploring the city, wriggling around in their bedroom and taking trains to green places.
