"SWALLOW / TALLY / A" was a piece created spontaneously directly channeling feelings around loneliness and grief after a breakup. The cardboard that was blessed with paint and oils was originally used as a barrier between the wood of the piece alongside it and the floor - and through kneeling on it again and again in devotion to Saint Benjamin it became worn and stained. Through the process of painting it , it became consecrated - resurrected into beauty after being an object of pain. It acts as a symbol for the process of grieving and rebirth after a breakup and speaks on Gabriel's own spirituality and beliefs around cycles, rebirth and love.
Both pieces are released in anticipation of the release of BUNNYTEEF's crip manifesto, to be released soon.
